Simplifying Search
At Rent. (formerly RentPath), I worked on modernizing the search experience across both mobile and web platforms. The goal was to reduce friction in the apartment hunting process, making it easier for users to find, view, and contact properties.
My work contributed to the eventual acquisition by Redfin, helping to integrate Rent.'s extensive rental inventory into Redfin's real estate ecosystem.
Map-Based Discovery
Redesigned the mobile map search to be more responsive and intuitive, allowing users to filter and preview properties without losing their context on the map.

Immersive Listings
Enhanced the property detail pages with larger imagery, clearer amenities lists, and streamlined contact forms to increase lead conversion rates.

Scale & Acquisition
The improvements to the user experience helped maintain Rent.'s position as a leading rental marketplace, serving over 10 million monthly active users. The platform's robust user base and modernized interface were key assets in the acquisition by Redfin.
